FAQ

Is the ski pass included in the lesson fee?
No. Ski passes are not included in the lesson fee and are required wherever ski lifts are used. Please ensure you have the appropriate ski pass before your lessons begin.

For more information, please see our Get a ski pass’ page.
Is insurance included with my lessons?
No. esf does not provide insurance cover for participants.
  • Ski lessons do not include insurance covering rescue costs on the slopes. We recommend taking out ski insurance when purchasing your ski pass.
  • You should also check the cover provided by your travel insurance, home insurance or payment card to ensure you are protected for winter sports activities.
What clothing and equipment does my child need?
  • Please make sure your child is dressed warmly for the weather, with suitable waterproof clothing, a windproof jacket, gloves or mittens, goggles or sunglasses, sun cream and tissues.
  • Your child will also need suitable ski equipment: ski boots, skis and a helmet. Ski poles are only required from 2ème Étoile level onwards.
  • Back protection is strongly recommended for snowpark sessions.
