The esf Team is designed for young people aged 14 and over who have reached Flèche de Bronze level or above. Guided by passionate and experienced coaches, they'll develop the skills and confidence needed to work towards becoming ski instructors or ski patrollers.

Plan your future on the slopes
The esf Team is designed for young people aged 14 and over who have reached Flèche de Bronze level and want to work towards becoming ski instructors or ski patrollers.

Guided by a team of passionate and experienced coaches, participants receive personalised support and expert advice to develop their technical skills, build confidence and prepare for instructor and ski patrol assessments. It's a rewarding programme that combines progression, commitment and a real team spirit.

This programme runs throughout the season, with individual sessions also available.

FAQ

Is the ski pass included in the lesson fee?
No. Ski passes are not included in the lesson fee and are required wherever ski lifts are used. Please ensure you have the appropriate ski pass before your lessons begin.

Is insurance included with my lessons?
No. esf does not provide insurance cover for participants.
  • Ski lessons do not include insurance covering rescue costs on the slopes. We recommend taking out ski insurance when purchasing your ski pass.
  • You should also check the cover provided by your travel insurance, home insurance or payment card to ensure you are protected for winter sports activities.
What clothing and equipment does my child need?
  • Please make sure your child is dressed warmly for the weather, with suitable waterproof clothing, a windproof jacket, gloves or mittens, goggles or sunglasses, sun cream and tissues.
  • Your child will also need suitable ski equipment: ski boots, skis and a helmet. Ski poles are only required from 2ème Étoile level onwards.
  • Back protection is strongly recommended for snowpark sessions.
Am I covered by insurance during lessons?
You must have insurance covering skiing, including third-party liability. We recommend checking the cover provided by your travel insurance, home insurance or payment card before your trip.Alternatively, you can purchase an FFS licence, which includes insurance cover and is available from the Axéen Ski Club.
